Eight-year-old Helps Dolphins

Amy Jones may be young, but she has a vision and an intense desire
to help dolphins. Amy has written 3 stories that she hopes to get
published to raise money for the Marine
Conservation Society, an organization dedicated to caring for
our oceans, shores and marine wildlife.
Amy's stories, entitled Dolphy Saves the Planet Bit by Bit, are
about a dolphin named Dolphy who wants to save the planet. Dolphy
discovers a magical tunnel and with his friends, Surf and Wave set
out to help people and other marine animals.
There are many problems facing dolphins today. Pollution and litter
have contaminated our oceans and effect dolphins in ways that are
not commonly known. Making people aware is the first step to finding
solutions! Amy's creative stories are a fine example of people finding
positive ways to help.
